MITSUBISHI WORLD CLAY SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP 2012

The Mitsubishi Motors World Series Clay Shooting Championship is the World’s most exciting clay shooting event.  In 2012 Countryman Fairs and sponsors Mitsubishi Motors have once again taken the competition to another level.

Clive and Louise Bramley of Doveridge Shotgun Academy will be organising the Clay Shooting Festival for the third year at all Countryman Fairs events, bringing with them a wealth of experience, and a fantastic competition and prize format.
This ground breaking competition offers shooters of all abilities a real chance to win the biggest prize in clay shooting, a brand new Mitsubishi L200 Trojan worth over £20,000!

All you need to do to enter, is turn up and shoot the English Sporting Layout in the Mitsubishi Motors Clay Shooting Festival at any one of Countryman Fairs' qualifying events:

  • Kelmarsh Game and Country Fair                21st & 22nd April 2012
  • Highclere Game and Country Fair                26th & 27th May 2012
  • Sussex Game and Country Fair                   16th & 17th June 2012
  • Lowther Game and Country Fair                  11th & 12th August 2012
  • Midland Game Fair                                     15th September 2012

FIBRE WAD CARTRIDGES ONLY AT ALL GAME FAIRS

Qualifying rounds will be contested over a 50 bird sporting layout. You will be shooting against competitors of a similar ability, so everyone has a genuine chance of winning a cash prize and qualifying for the Grand Final. Cash prizes will be paid out on each day. There is a guaranteed £100 for the high gun in each lettered class (AA, A, B, C) and the remaining cash prizes will be subject to the number of entries per class.  Sponsored prizes will be given to Ladies, Juniors and Veterans.

Each day is classed as a separate qualifying event and at the end of each qualifying day at Kelmarsh, Highclere, Sussex & Lowther the top two places in CPSA Classes AA, A, B, C & the Highest scoring Lady, Junior & Veteran will be allocated a slot for the Grand Final. Finally on the 15th Sept at the Midland the top two places in CPSA Classes AA, A, B & C (Please note: No places will be available for Ladies Juniors or Veterans at the Midland) will be allocated a slot for the Grand Final.  The Grand Final will be held at the Midland Game Fair over the 15th & 16th September 2012.

NEW in 2012 – LADIES, JUNIORS & VETERANS can qualify for the Grand Final.  This will give a total of 96 Shooters the chance to compete in the Grand Final with the chance to win the High Gun prize of a Mitsubishi L200 Trojan.  As well as the CPSA Classes the Highest scoring Lady, Junior and Veteran will be awarded a slot on each qualifying day at Kelmarsh, Highclere, Sussex and Lowther.  Please note that if you qualify as a Lady, Junior or Veteran you will shoot in your lettered class in the Grand Final.
