GREAT WALL MOTORS WORLD CLAY SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP 2013

For 2013 the World Series will have an exciting new sponsor getting invloved in the Clay Shooting World Series.

Great Wall Motors World Series Clay Shooting Championship will again be offering the winner a supberb prize. For 2013 the winner of the Grand Final will take away a Great Wall Steed Chrome worth £18,000.

Clive and Louise Bramley of Doveridge Shotgun Academy will be organising the Clay Shooting Festival for the fourth year at all Countryman Fairs events, bringing with them a wealth of experience, and a fantastic competition and prize format.

This ground breaking competition offers shooters of all abilities a real chance to win the biggest prize in clay shooting, a brand new Great Wall Steed Chrome worth £18,000!

All you need to do to enter, is turn up and shoot the English Sporting Layout in the Great Wall Motors Clay Shooting Festival at any one of Countryman Fairs' qualifying events:

  • Kelmarsh Game and Country Fair                31st March & 1st April 2013
  • Highclere Game and Country Fair                26th & 27th May 2013
  • Sussex Game and Country Fair                   15th & 16th June 2013
  • Lowther Game and Country Fair                  10th & 11th August 2013
  • Midland Game Fair                                     14th September 2013

FIBRE WAD CARTRIDGES ONLY AT ALL GAME FAIRS

Qualifying rounds will be contested over a 50 bird sporting layout. You will be shooting against competitors of a similar ability, so everyone has a genuine chance of winning a cash prize and qualifying for the Grand Final. Cash prizes will be paid out on each day. There is a guaranteed £100 for the high gun in each lettered class (AA, A, B, C) and the remaining cash prizes will be subject to the number of entries per class. NOTE: Money is paid back from EVERY CARD (including re-entry crads) not just on cards returned to the office. Unclassified Shooters will be classified using CPSA rules for Prize Money only.

Each day is classed as a separate qualifying event and at the end of each qualifying day at Kelmarsh, Highclere, Sussex & Lowther the top two places in CPSA Classes AA, A, B, C, U/C & the Highest scoring Lady, Junior & Veteran will be allocated a slot for the Grand Final. Finally on the 14th Sept at the Midland the top place in CPSA Classes AA, A, B, C & U/C (Please note: No places will be available for Ladies Juniors or Veterans at the Midland) will be allocated a slot for the Grand Final.  The Grand Final will be held at the Midland Game Fair over the 14th & 15th September 2013.

NEW in 2013 – Unclassified Shooters are given qualifying slots at all the shows rather than being classfied into a class for the day. LADIES, JUNIORS & VETERANS can qualify for the Grand Final.  This will give a total of 101 Shooters the chance to compete in the Grand Final with the chance to win the High Gun prize of a Great Wall Motor Steed Chrome worth £18,000.  As well as the CPSA Classes the Highest scoring Lady, Junior and Veteran will be awarded a slot on each qualifying day at Kelmarsh, Highclere, Sussex and Lowther.  Please note that if you qualify as a Lady, Junior or Veteran you will shoot in your lettered class in the Grand Final.
